19 Jaw-Dropping Spring Break
Destinations Around the World
Spring Break is coming up around the corner, and if you are anything like me, you have yet to settle all of the details of your vacation. This simple and straight-to-the-point guide will outline my personal recommendations for vacation spots around the world in 2018:
Since most of my viewers are from the United States, here are my top 4 places for the U.S. first:
Gatlinburg, Tennessee: Amazing downtown areas and access to the Great Smoky Mountains. It’s peak time is during the summer months, so spending Spring Break in this lovely destination is a must to miss the crowds.
Huntington Beach, California: As a So-Cal local, I couldn’t step aside and not put my home area on the list. Check out my guide around one of California’s most popular beaches to see why it’s so popular.
Williamsburg, Virginia: This place is a must-visit for history-lovers (like myself). It’s colonial background and endless activities are sure to keep you entertained.
Salt Lake City, Utah: Skiing, outdoor explorations such as Wasatch-Cache National Forest, and former Olympic attractions aren’t the only reasons to visit this beautiful location. Check out my guide to Salt Lake for more information.
Laurentian Mountains, Quebec: During the months of March and April, this region celebrates maple harvesting. Festivities and sugar shacks can be *deliciously* found in this breathtaking area. For more information, check out their tourist site.
Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort, Alberta: Incredible skiing, hot springs, and mouth-watering food. Need I say more?
Central and South America:
Playa del Carmen, Mexico: This place looks like something you would only dream of seeing. Their out-of-this-world Spring Break scene makes it a popular destination for students and adults alike.
Buenos Aires, Argentina: This capital city is full of life and culture. Be prepared to be surrounded by iconic buildings and attractions, such as Casa Rosada.
Galápagos Islands, Ecuador: These volcanic islands are home to breathtaking wildlife and stunning views. Pictures do not do this place justice.

Amsterdam, Netherlands: If you take a look at anyone’s list for European cities to visit during spring, Amsterdam is on every single one. There is a simple explanation: the flowers. Amsterdam is home to eye-catching flower assortments, including Keukenhouf Gardens.
Montreux, Switzerland: Alpine hikes and boat rides on Lake Geneva make Montreux a popular spring break destination. Like Amsterdam, Montreux is also filled with blooming flowers.
Milan, Italy: The outstanding food, culture, and fashion makes Milan a popular vacation destination year-round.
Vienna , Austria: This place lights up during the spring months, shaking away its winter coat for a new breath of fresh air. You are guaranteed to see fantastic and art and history on your vacation here.
Phuket, Thailand: This place is home to Thailand’s most popular beaches. Enjoy your stay in a wonderful resort while dipping your feet into the sand.
Taipei, Taiwan: This capital is home to wonderful street food, modern culture clashes, and towering attractions (including the Taipei 101 skyscraper).
Hanoi, Vietnam: Vietnam’s capital is full of rich-history, clearly shown in its architecture and ways of life. This is another must-stop for my history geeks (I see you!)
Kangaroo Island, South Australia: This island is home to amazing wildlife and hiking adventures. If you visit here, be sure to the Cape Gantheaume Conservation Park and the Art Festival.
Hobart, Tasmania: In the spring, Hobart is best known for its Tulip Festival (if you cannot tell by now, I am obsessed with flowers and plants). Come here to breath in the flowers and settle down in a colonial-style cottage of your own.
Gold Coast, Queensland: Last, but not least, is the Gold Coast (not to be mistaken with the Golden Coast of California). This spot is great for surfers and non-surfers alike. Visit a ton of hiking trails, amusement parks and wildlife reservations.
